The age may not be the best measure of when a child can ride. Each child matures differently, so it is difficult to say at what age a child is ready for horse riding. Horse riding requires a combination of physical strength, mental and emotional maturity.

In Arthayasa we allow children to start early as they are always led, supervised and ride in an enclosed area.

The children should be a minimum age of 6 before they are allowed to ride a horse on their own.
