Arthayasa Equestrian & Country Club would like to announce the confirmed dates for our yearly competition Arthayasa Open 2008. It will be held on May 1-4 in Arthayasa Stables. The detailed competition schedule, classes and entry forms will be available soon by email and on our website.

The competition will be organized over three days and will include Cross Country and Showjumping educational and national classes. The prizes and the prize money are to be confirmed and will be announced later.

Open Training Weekend - February 16-17, 2008
Arthayasa will hold a training weekend on February 16-17. Cross Country course will be open for practice on Saturday, February 16, 2-5pm. Cost: Rp 200,000 per horse / rider combination.

Showjumping course will be opened for practice on Sunday, February 17:
obstacles below 1m - 9am to 12pm
obstacle above 1m - 2-5pm
Cost : Rp 200,000 per horse / rider combination. 

Stabling available at Rp 70,000 per day. The trainers are allowed to help riders in the arena. Interested riders should register at the Arthayasa office.

Showjumping Course Design Clinic
Arthayasa will conduct a Showjumping Course Design Clinic on February 14-15 in conjunction with our February Open Training Weekend. The clinic is suitable for the riders and trainers interested in learning the basics of the showjumping course design. The course attendants will learn about safe distances between the obstacles and in combinations, type of fences, footing, course building techniques etc. and will receive a course manual (available in English or Indonesian). The course will be conducted by Rafiq Radinal, FEI International Course Designer. The cost for 2 days (lunch is included) is Rp 600,000. Contact our office for more information and to sigh up!

Arthayasa New Year Showjumping Challenge 2008
On January 18-20 we ran a first showjumping competition in the year. The competition was held in the big indoor and as usual everyone enjoyed the shady ride and a good food afterwards. Congratulations to all winners!

Educational Dressage Classes
For our dressage riders we conducted the educational classes and dressage riding clinic on January 25-26. Congratulations to all winners!

Princess Limo, Blue Angel and Napoleon found a new home
Some of our young horse have been sold during the last few months. Beautiful Princess Limo was sold to Mr. Satrya Naradha, Napoleon went to the JPEC (Jakarta) with the new owner - Anuta , Blue Angel is now with Tiara Ulfa Zein from Intan Sakti Stables (Central Java).

Billiard table is installed at the poolside
Good news is that we have our renovated billiard table installed at the poolside. Next time when your friends are visiting you at our club, don't forget to ask the office to open the table for you to have a good time.

We will hold two riding camps during the December holidays - on 18-19 December and 20-21 December. You will get the special discounts if your child subscribes for 2 camps, if you have more then one sibling attending the camp or if your child invites her or his friend to join the camp.
